Vaccinations for your
internship abroad
Travel protected. Check which vaccinations you need and book an appointment on time.
Why vaccinate?
Anyone traveling for a long time should research vaccinations. Fortunately, there are many countries where this is not necessary (like within the EU).
But going further away? Because you immerse yourself in the local culture for a longer time, the chance of coming into contact with diseases that we don't know in the UK is greater.
Common
- DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio)
- Hepatitis A & B
- Yellow Fever
- Typhoid
- Rabies

Where to go?
We recommend students get their travel vaccinations at their GP or a specialized travel clinic.
When to book?
Book an appointment at least 8 weeks before departure. Some vaccinations (like Hepatitis B) require multiple doses over several weeks.
